You Are 56% Misanthropic

You're somewhat misanthropic, but you're not willing to write off the human race (yet!).

There's a few people you like, and even them you like at a distance.

You Are a Playwright

You are a highly literate wordsmith. You love both reading and writing.

You are also a natural storyteller. You can turn a mediocre anecdote into a riveting tale.

You find people and all aspects of life fascinating. No topic is off limits for you.

In modern times, you would make a good filmmaker or novelist.

You Should Learn Spanish

For you, learning a language is about career advancement and communication.

Knowing Spanish will bring you tons of possibilities for jobs and travel. Bárbaro!

You Have Low Self Esteem 52% of the Time

While you sometimes feel good about yourself, you tend to struggle a little with self esteem issues.

It's not about changing who you are, it's about accepting your faults. You just need to be less critical and demanding of yourself!

You've Changed 76% in 10 Years

Compared to who you were ten years ago, you've changed a great deal.

In fact, you're probably in a completely different phase of your life - and very happy about it!

You Communicate With Your Ears

You love conversations, both as a listener and a talker.

What people say is important to you, and you're often most affected by words, not actions.

You love to hear complements from others. And when you're upset, you often talk to yourself.

Music is very important to you. It's difficult to find you without your iPod.

You Are a Star

You have a Type A personality so big it makes other Type A's shrink away in shame.

You never shy away from adversity - and you love to tackle impossible problems.

Failure is not an option for you, and more than a few people are put off by your ego.

You tend to be controlling, and you hate leaving anything up to chance.

Your strength: Your bold approach to life

Your weakness: You don't accept help

Your power color: Bronze

Your power symbol: Pyramid

Your power month: October

So rather than working on my medical ethics take home test- i've been reading foods blogs (in particular http://www.katheats.com/, i'm usually a http://carrotsncake.com/ type but since i am procrastinating I branched out.
One of them mentioned "mint.com" which can be used to track finances, so I signed up. Its really awesome and easy... especially for me since I only have one bank account and no credit cards - and *sometimes* i am meticulous about my upkeep of my online banking.

So it computes what you spend on a variety of components i.e. rent, food & dining, entertainment. Its pretty fab,... I might become obsessed.

Unfortunately- my average spending on food was $280 :O !!! That does include groceries, dining out, alcohol etc. but for one person (generally)! that is absurd... I hadn't been doing very well with my money lately but thats a bit extreme.
I'm really good at not spending my money of other things (usually) like clothes and what not- mostly because those things are more lasting and I'll remember it- food is so often an impulse buy - and then i eat it and forget :/
also, its a "necessity"- granted I am a chronic and unruly binge eater- so the amount of food i eat is definitely not a necessity, but i can still chalk it up to it.
I also generally attempt to eat healthy- so that can be pricey- especially since it takes a lot to fill me up (that is in regards to all food - but to buy a box of macaroni and cheese - which is 3 servings but i would eat all at once is 50cents, whereas, whole wheat pasta - eat amount half a box :/ at 1.20 per box= .60, + ~ 1/2 bag frozen vegetables $1, + 1/4 can sauce .25 = total 1.85 for a meal-- and thats not even necessarily a whole meal... I told you I eat a lot !!

I discovered this mint.com right after i went grocery shopping :/ but at least now i have a full refrigerator (I was very excited about my purchases they had lots of good sales at shaws this week... they had some really cute clemintines on sale too but i couldnt carry a box...)
so far this month i have spent $135 (--- although i do not think my debit from the pub crawl cleared yet so it might be more) So i figure- i have a stocked fridge- this is the perfect time to attempt to manage my meals a bit better and try not to spend an absurd amount of money for the rest of the month.
i'll set a grocery goal of $20 a week... (we'll see if that works!)
I know i also have to go out to dinner etc for a few plans/ celebrations etc... so that will put a damper on things.

I cant help that I liked to be kissed
And I wouldnt mind if my name changed to mrs.
This is one side, my conventional side
An attraction to tradition
My vintage dispostion
My sincere architecture
And I want to cook him dinner
But Im more indecisive than ever
And who believes in forever?

I just ate 2 pounds of carrots. It probably would have been more, but I ran out of carrots. that was of course on top of a ton of other food.
I'm going to poop orange tomorrow. hahaha. TMI??

I have not, however, written a single word of my Medical Ethics take home test.

I have also been watching the election ridiculously closely- especially considering the fact that i am incredibly apolitical and didn't even vote. My roommate is a crazy democrat working for Obama- even she was ok with my not voting since MA is not a swing state so it really didnt matter.
furthermore- she had kept harassing me about going to vote and i finally said i would vote for McCain hahaha that got her to stop pressuring me!!

how did flies, above all other flying insects, get to be named flies??

there is a fly flying flying flying around my head.

I used to work with a southern woman at a bakery who made a mean shoe-fly-pie.
I have no pie.. but i wish the fly would shoe nonetheless.

"To love is to suffer. To avoid suffering one must not love. But then one suffers from not loving. Therefore to love is to suffer, not to love is to suffer. To suffer is to suffer. To be happy is to love. To be happy then is to suffer. But suffering makes one unhappy. Therefore, to be unhappy one must love, or love to suffer, or suffer from too much happiness. I hope you're getting this down."

My alarm clock awoke me from a dream this morning. In the dream I was shopping for plums. I was squeezing them to see which ones were ripe. I had not picked one out when the alarm clock rang.

So, because i took myself off of all the options for health insurance, my work decided to put me on the most expensive paln. so my check fro mlast week i made 250 dollars, and had 40 dollars taken out for a T pass, and 200 dollars for this insurance plan that i didnt know i had. i was a bit confused by my direct deposit check of 10 dollar.... that sucks a lot. and i know it wont be fixed by next week, so i can expect another 50 dollar chec ( i wont have the t pass in this one at least...

and.. next week is my spring break, and i explained to my boss that i get kicked out of my dorm at 10 am on saturday, so i really was going to have a hard time getting in to boston the rest of the week, especialy the weekend.
so we worked out that i would work saturday the 8th, since i wouldnt have trouble getting there at 7 am since icould stay in the dorm til 10, and then i wold work sunday the 9th, and iwas planning on staying at my friends place, sicne she was taking a plane on sunday. and then i would work on friday, since there are trains into boston early (granted id have to get up at 4 to take the train at 5 to get to work for 7 am- but i would sacrafice for a day) and then not get home til 9 pm.

but then i went in to work this firday and she completely changd the scheudle to work the 8th, and then thursday - sunday 13th-16th?? even though she knew i had no where to live.

grr

im pissed oofffff

and like all of my friends that live off campus are goign to fun exotic places so i cant bum a place to live off them, or i feel awkward asking people i havent talked to in a while.

im goign to be living in a box in boston commons.
